Nutri-Grade Grading System
Nutri-Grade Grading System (SSSIO)
(Nutri-Grade)
From mid-2027, the Ministry of Health (MOH) will expand Nutri-Grade labelling and advertising restrictions to prepacked salt, sauces, seasonings, instant noodles, and cooking oils (SSSIO) in retail settings. These products will be graded from A to D based on their sodium, sugar and/or saturated fat levels, with Grades C and D requiring front-of-pack labels. The updated label will indicate which nutrient determines the grade, while advertisements for Grade D products will be prohibited across both online and physical platforms.
